Procedural discipline.
Evidentiary depth.

Arbitration under the TAC Rules, supported by TAC eCase, the Centre’s own case-management platform.

01 / The Centre’s own platform

TAC Rules. TAC eCase.

TAC has developed eCase around its Rules as the central working environment for arbitration. The Centre’s own platform brings together the Case File, submissions, procedural documents and case chronology, with access structured around each participant’s role.

02 / The TAC approach

Discipline built
into the procedure.

01

Expedited by default.
Without a monetary ceiling.

The Expedited Procedure applies unless the parties expressly agree otherwise or the Centre determines that standard procedure is more appropriate to the circumstances. An express agreement on the number of arbitrators remains effective under the Expedited Procedure.

02

Procedural discipline,
written into the Rules.

The Rules require early identification of the issues and proportionate procedural measures. They provide defined powers to limit repetitive submissions, determine suitable issues early and address procedural abuse. Tribunal decisions materially affecting a party’s ability to present its case require concise reasons.

03

Technology assists.
Arbitrators decide.

Those using AI tools remain responsible for their work, including its accuracy and confidentiality. Adjudicative determinations cannot be delegated to automated systems. Each arbitrator remains personally responsible for deliberation and decision-making.

03 / Specialised evidentiary frameworks

Where records,
control and rights diverge.

TAC’s Supplementary Rules turn complex questions of ownership, control and entitlement into a structured evidentiary inquiry.

A

Ownership

Complex ownership and control

Ownership may be recorded in one name while instructions, decision-making and economic benefit sit elsewhere.

The Rules provide for tracing those relationships through financial flows, patterns of conduct and structural changes over time. Conflicting records and analytical outputs are assessed in context, with rebuttable inferences and safeguards for the parties’ right to respond.

B

Digital assets

Digital assets and blockchain

A completed transaction can leave ownership, authority and liability unresolved.

The Rules provide for examining who acted and who controlled the asset through system snapshots, transaction histories and on-chain and off-chain records. Tracing reports are tested for methodology, assumptions and limitations; control of a key or a risk score alone does not establish legal entitlement.
